Faith and Fear : you can't walk in faith and fear at the same time - Iman Percaya dan rasa takut - About the Armour of God

There has been a continual battle between The Kingdom of God and the dominion of darkness. And between the children of God and Satan and his demons in the world. Where we live since Jesus deveated all evil on the cross and resurrection.

We must recognize and understand the basic power that satan uses to keep us in bondage to do his will. That power is FEAR!

FEAR means doubt, discourage and mistrust.

Fear causes you to break relationship with God. Look at adam and Eve, they tried to hide from God’s coming in the garden of Eden (Gen 3:8-10). Satan does not attack us while we walk with God, but he tempts to lead us away from God with fear. We can allow fear to control our lives. Fear causes us to do things that we should not have done. Fear separates us from the kingdom of God. Satan wants you to be in fear that increasingly enslaves you to him. Our fear will make the dominion of darkness grow and rule the world.

How does satan cause us to be fearful? Simple! By listening to the lies of satan. By believing in the deception of satan.
At present we are unaware that we are deceived by satan’s lies. He always plants this seed of doubt in our minds. if we listen to the lies, we will become slaves to the dominion of darkness. He can use us to fight with the children of God and advance on the Kingdom of God.

How can we stop the control that fear has over us? By our faith in Christ with all our hearts!
 
FAITH will lead us to Jesus’ rule that is the Kingdom of God. Faith means belief, loyal, trust and confidence.

God calls you to have faith in Him (Mark 11:22-23 NLT) : then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you cansay this mountain, ‘may you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.

Jesus calls us to have faith in Him with all our hearts. Our faith in Christ can overcome fear. We must strengthen our hands for battle and resolve to overcome every fear that seeks dominion in our life. We must replace the fears in our life with faith. We must wear the spiritual armour and weapon that God gives us to grow our faith in Jesus Christ in our life, and to resist the control that fear has over us.

God uses FAITH to set us free to serve Him. By faith we will receive the promise of Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit of God is love, joy and peace to us. Many christian churches say to themselves they should serve God with all faithfulness. They say their battle with evil is not needed because God automatically protects them. Nooooo! That’s not true! They are already slaves to dominion of darkness.
  

About the Armour of God

(Eph 6:10-18 NLT) : A final word : Be strong in the Lord and in His Mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the Heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Thenafter the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of devil. Put on slvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
 
We are called to wear the armour and weapon that God has gives us to stand firm and have faith in Christ.
(1 John 5:4 NLT) : For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.

What does this verse mean? It means that our faith will make the Kingdom of God advance on the dominion of darkness in the world.
What should you advance on the dominion of darkness with?? Your prayer! Praying in tongues! The holy Spirit helps your prayer.

(Rom 8: 26-27 NLT) : and the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we dont know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.

Faith and fear are what we must choose between in our life. if we continue to have faith in Christ, our faith will be strengthened, so the the Kingdom of God will advance on our family, our church, our nation, our generations and all future generations until Jesus’ coming.
