Job was a man of God, God fearing. Prophet and wealthiest in the world. God blessed Job. Because he was wholeheartedly faithful to God.
Moses was a man of God, God fearing, Prophet and Leader of the Israelites. God called Moses to lead two million Hebrews out of Egypt. And they lived for 40 years in the Sinai desert.
Why did God call Moses to be a leader of His people?
Because He was the humblest man on earth and was dependant on God wholehaertedly. Job and Moses are the sinner like you, me and everyone. Job and Moses made mistakes like you, me and everyone. They continued to obey and trust in God for their life. satan could not stand and Moses. God knew satan had a strong desire to destroy Job, his family and friends. He had no power to destroy Job because Job’s faith was strong, making it difficult to abandon God.
God permitted satan to test Job’s faith and cause Job’s trouble
(Job 1:12 ; Job 2:6-7).
Job 1 :12 : “All right, you may test him,” the Lord said to satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but dont harm him physically”. So satan left the Lord’s presence.
Job 2 : 6-7 : “All right, do with him as you please,’. The Lord said to satan. “but spare his life.” 7: so satan left the Lords presence, and he struck Job with terrible boils from head to foot.
But Job did not know this fact. So Job thought that God caused the problem (Job 19 :1-12) : Then Job answered and said: “How long will you torment my soul, and break me in pieces with words? These ten times you have reproached me; You are not ashamed that you have wronged me. And if indeed i have erred, my error remains with me. If indeed you exalt yourselves against me, and plead my disgrace against me, Know then taht God has wronged me, and has surrounded me with His net. “If i cry out concerning wrong, i am not heard. If i cry aloud, there is no justice. He has fenced up my way, so that i cannot pass; and He has set darkness in my paths. He has stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head. He breaks me down on every side, and i am gone; my hope He has uprooted like a tree. He has also kindled His wrath against me, and He counts me as one of His enemies. His troops come together and build up their road against me; They encamp all around my tent.
In fact, God did not cause Job’s troubles. God merely permitted Job to suffer. Still, Job trusted God. And Job refused to insult or curse God
( Job 2;9-10) : then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!”. But he said to her, You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversitu?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
Satan realised job’s faith was still held up. He had to search and test Job’s families andfriends faiths. He used Job’s wife to try to cause Job to curse God. Later he also used his loyal friends, Eliphaz, Bildad and Zophar to blame Job.
(Job 22:4-11) : “It is because of your fear of Him that He corrects you, and enters into judgment with you? Is not your wickedness great, and your iniquity without end? For you have taken pledges from your brother for no reason and stripped the naked of their clothing. You have not given the weary water to drink, and you have witheld bread from the hungry. But the mighty man possessed the land, and the hinorable man dwelt in it. You have sent widows away empty, and the strength of the fatherless was crushed. Therefore snares are all around you, and sudden fear troubles you, Or darkness so that you cannot see; and an abundance of water covers you.
Job suffered greatly! Satan tried to break the relationship between Job and God. (Numbers 12:1-15): Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. So they said, “Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” And the Lord heard it. (Now the man Moses was very humble, more tahn all men who were on the face of the earth.) Suddenly the Lord said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, “Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!” So the three came out. Then the Lord came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward. Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream. Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house. I speak with him face to face, even plainly, and not in dark sayings; and he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?” So the anger of the Lord was aroused against them, and He departed. And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper. So Aaron said to Moses, “Oh, my Lord! Please dont lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned. Please do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb!” so Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, “Please heal her, O God, i pray!” Then the Lord said to Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again.” So Miriam was shut out of the of camp seven days, and the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again.
Notice the improper passion of Aaron and Miriam and the tremendous patience of Moses under this disobedience that was coming from his siblings and fellow leaders. Aaron the high Priest and miriam the prophetess were in joint leadership with Moses. These two were angry with him. They were questioning his qualifications as a leader.
Who caused Moses siblings and fellow leaders to critize Moses? Satan!
Satan also used them to criticize unnecessarily Moses. Satan is waiting like roaring lion until he cantempt you at your weak point, the same as he did Jesus when Jesus was at his weak point
(Mat 4:1-3): Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are teh Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
What is your weak point? It is people that you love and care for.
God loves the people of the world. Satan can use people to prevent you from having a relationship with God.
My brothers and sisters, if you remain faithful to the Lord your God, your faith will be strengthened through the Holy Spirit of fire that God sends you. Satan has no power over you! He cannot do anything to you. He knows his temptation will not affect your faith in God and you could resist his temptations.
Beware of christians! For satan can use them to blame you as he did Job’s loyal friends and Moses’ siblings! It is not just, but your family and friends that you loved. Whenever you are being taught, or study or preach the teaching and doctrines that God gives you. Satan will try to stop you by using christians to argue and blame you unnecessarily over the Bible and biblical teaching and doctrines.
Why does satan use christians? Because they have just known and believe in the Bible in the Bible and God, but they do not have deep relationship with God. They also have no knowledge of God’s person. The same as Job’s loyal friends and Moses’ siblings, because they had the little and lack of knowledge of God. This is why satan wants to use them!
The criticism is not helping but it is like deadly cancer! For many years, satan had used people (mostly christians) to haevily criticize well known christians in the world, like Yusak Tjipto, Billy Graham, Smith Wigglesworth, Benny Hinn etc. They have labelled well known christians as false prophets, false preachers or false teachers. In fact, satan had no power over men of God, because their faith is strong, like Moses’ and Job’s. He has been using their beloved families and friends to blame them. Jesus warned John not to stop the man who used Jesus’ name
(Mark 9: 38-41) : Now John answered Him< saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.”. But Jesus said, “ Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. For he who is not against us is on our side. For whoever gives you cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, i say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.
Christians are supposed to be for Jesus and the saints, but they are really against Him, them and us! Numbers of christians publicly criticize and blame other christians. That is not what Jesus taught! God would pour His wrath out on them for criticizing His servants
( Job 42:7 ) : And so it was, after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wratch is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. ; ( Numbers 12: 8-9): i speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?”. So the anger of the Lord was aroused against them, and He departed.
Jesus warned us in the bible, ‘false Christ and false prophets’ will come and will attempt to deceive even God’s elect
(Mat 24:23-27): “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms! Do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will coming of the Son of Man be.
There are some people in the world today who really are false christs and false prophets. As nice as they sound, the statement “God loves you”, “God understands how you feel”, “God accepts you, regardless of whether you are gay”, “God wants us to feed the hungry”, “God wants you to be wealthy”, are not complete message of the gospel.
We know many false christians have behaved like the world because they refuse to accept the true word of God and the Holy Spirit of truth. Do not criticize, blame or stop well known christians, born again christians and men of God. For they are the servants of God. They love and serve the Lord. He has blessed them. He has given them powerful gifts of the Holy Spirit to use. They are for us as brothers and sisters.
Why do you want to fight with servants of God? The Lord does not call you to fight with your brothers and sisters and His servants! Not right!!!
If you see the brother’s sins, go and show him his fault in private, if he listens to you, you have won your brother. That is what Jesus wants!
(Mat 18:15-17): “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
If the brother refuses to listen you, do not pay him back badly. Leave him alone and pray for him
(2 thessalonians 3:15) : Don’t think of them as enemies, but warn them as you would a brother or sister.
See?
So, don’t worry about your brothers and sisters who have fallen into sin. Pray for them. Pray in tongues for them. The Lord will deliver them from sins. Do not pay attention to those who behave like Job’sfriends and Moses’ siblings! For they said themselves they are christians. They also know and believe in the Bible and God, but they have not been filled with the Holy Spirit and with fire, nor received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
(Romans 8:9) : But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
My brothers and sisters, if you are called by God Himself (not man) to preach or speak to people with doctrines that God gives you, you will be easily criticized and blamed by christians and people. For satan wants to stop you doing what God has called you to do. Do not yield yourself to lies, father of lies! Stand firm, for God is with you, as He has promised. Do not pay back those christians who criticize or blame you without any reason
(Romans 12:17-21): Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give palce to wratch; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good..
Do not associate with them. Satan is clever, he may cause you to fall into the trap of his deadly hands. Do not pay attention to or take sides with those christians who criticize or blame the servants of God like Job and Moses. If you do, God will pour out His wrath on you! (Job 42:7): (Numbers 12:8-9). Love them, forgive them for blaming and hurting you. Pray for them, bless them in Jesus name. They might be won back to God by your powerful prayer in Jesus name. Pray for them, the same as Job prayed for his friends and Moses prayed for his siblings.
